Once upon a time nearly all of us were interns. We made coffee, answered phones, went on emergency trips to Staples for ink cartridges AND somehow, in the midst of all that, had some of the most valuable and educational experiences of our academic and professional careers.
Well, as it turns out, we need someone to make coffee, answer the phones and keep score for us during our ping pong matches too. Sounds interesting enough, right? This past year Clear Blue, Inc. was faced with a challenge that marketing agencies all around the globe face every year. The agency was asked to promote a global company without a global budget.
The solution? Turn to the media. In 2009 Clear Blue developed four international press kits for one of the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturers. These press kits were released across the globe in six languages: English, French, German, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish.
“We’re so happy to be working with a company who can supply us with the press material we need,” said Fabia Sugandy, Editor, Southeast Asia Construction.
In addition to press kits, Clear Blue conducted over 95 international press interviews with various company executives.
The bottom line is the key measure of success. For this initiative, the client’s return on investment soared over 1,000% from trade show optimization and media relations at two huge international trade shows.
